Amit Bajaj's passion towards traditional & sustainable golf and the biodiverse environment has helped him to gain in-depth knowledge and insight into the game of golf and created niche for himself in the Indian golf industry.

Amit has completed his Dual Certification in International Golf Course Management from the Scottish Qualification Authority. His work tenure with Scottish golf courses exposed him to in-depth know how and apprenticeship works particularly with The Home of Golf - St. Andrews Links, Turnberry Golf Links which are the two best in the global golf industry. Amit has a strong knowledge of environmental science & civil engineering and specializes in Golf Facility Research, Planning, Design, Development, Environment, Operations & Maintenance and have been promoting Affordable & Sustainable Golf and the Environment.

Amit is a First Indian who Operated Trueness Meter, Clegg Hammer to test St. Andrews Old Course putting green performance under supervision of Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI)-UK.

Amit is fortunate to follow his passion to become India's first Certified Golf Course Management Professional. Formally, educated at SRUC Elmwood Campus, Scotland with 36 Credits in History & Development of Golf, Contemporary Golf Industry, Design & Construction of Golf Course Features, Turf Grass Ecology, Water & Soil Science for Turf Managers, Managing International Turf Grasses, Managing Turf Areas on a Golf Course, Golf Course Irrigation & Drainage Systems Management, Fleet of Machinery Management, Golf Facility Development, Integrated Management of the Golf Course Environment, Golf Operations, Marketing & Hospitality. He also possesses Post Graduation in Corporate Studies & Business Management, Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Pune University.

Amit has been awarded scholarship by Royal & Ancient Club of St. Andrews to study Askernish Golf Course, South Uist, which is one of the most natural and oldest golf course in the UK designed by the Legend and the forefather of golf - Old Tom Morris.

Amit has operated and maintained Beldih Golf Course-Jamshedpur where his work was highly appreciated by the members for course presentation, upkeep, manpower training, machinery maintenance and golf operations. Spearheaded the course prepration for Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) - 11TH TATA OPEN at Beldih Golf Club. Has also encouraged Junior Golf Development to nurture the game of golf at grass root level.

Amit operated & maintained Tarudhan Valley Golf Course- Gurgaon where he enhanced the overall golf facility by optimising Jacobson, Turfco maintenance machinery & Toro irrigation system operations, established standard greenkeeping practices, O&M staff training & welfare, increased course traffic, increased golf revenues from 24 lacs to 60 lacs annually with the growth rate of 208% through weekends golfing rounds for Japanese, Koreans communities, corporate golf tournaments for brands like Honda, charity golf tournaments for British golf society. Has also encouraged Junior Golf Development by increasing Junior Golf Tournaments in the Annual Golf Calendar.

Amit Bajaj being a sustainability enthusiast, believes that it is the pivotal duty of each and every individual to preserve the environment by sustainable ways for future generations. He founded GreenLinks Consulting (GLC) a decade ago along with a team of professionals to provide affordable & sustainable golf and other sports services pan India. Since, then he has been Consulting golf courses, sports facilities and both govt. and private real estate developers for sustainable golf and sports development for residential cum resort, tourism projects. GreenLinks Consulting (GLC), is the only company in the Indian Golf and Sports Industry, that has been practising sustainability in its various projects on the ground and has also fulfilled its social responsibility or obligation by offering assistance to sports institutions for underprivileged children.

Amit Bajaj is also the International Member of British & International Golf GreenKeepers Association (BIGGA), Lifetime Member of Golf Course Superintendents & Managers Association of India (GCS&MAI). Amit has also presented the Integrated Management of the Golf Course Environment in 2014 at Greenkeeping Seminar, GCS&MAI organised by 6th Asia Golf Industry Show & CII.

Agronomist, Sports Facility Development & Project Management Expert with an Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Production) from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune, INDIA

Raviraj is an avid sportsman, biodiverse environment researcher and a project development and management expert. Though from an engineering background; his true passion lies in Sports field development and maintenance. He can offer valuable guidance in regards to professional and expert investigation, site evaluation, and safety assessments of your Sports facilities.

After completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Production) ; he worked in a few engineering industries and then a few Multinational companies for 6 years. In 2009 he quit his job to pursue his true interests in Agronomy. This led him to research and work on the interrelated areas of Soil Mechanics and Soil Environment Engineering.He has been researching on plant and soil science for the past 10 years. His research career has led him to acquire detailed knowledge on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Integrated Nutrient management (INM). This has provided an ideal basis for his current appointment as Agronomist and Project Head at GLC which involves the application of fundamental scientific principles to the management of soil for sports pitches. In addition to his knowledge and experience in agronomy, he possesses a solid understanding of construction & maintenance principles of sports pitches.

Raviraj has over 5 years experience in agronomy relating to the construction and maintenance of sports pitches. This has largely been gained through his work as Agronomist with GLC. He has researched and worked on different types of soils such as clayey, sandy loamy and alluvial soils, is an expert at construction of Sand based sports fields. His tenure as agronomist has led him to research and establish different types of Hybrid turf grasses such as Royal Bengal Bermuda grass, La Prima Bermuda grass, Rye grass, Tifeagle & Tifdwarf Bermuda grasses.

Raviraj was an ardent football player and a cricketer during his college years. His dreams of constructing Football fields and Cricket grounds were finally realised with GLC. Through his tenure as an Agronomist Raviraj has garnered knowledge and experience in subsurface drainage installation, cavity preparation of sports pitches, rootzone preparation, irrigation installation, turf establishment & maintenance . He has successfully planned and executed FIFA standard football fields in Arunachal Pradesh; where he was heading the construction and turf establishment of the football fields.

These football fields have an intricate subsurface drainage design due to high rainfall in this region. The installation of which is flawless and 100% successful. With the completion of these projects he is one of the first in the country to successfully executed seeding with a blend of warm season and cool season grass for the football field. His knowledge regarding successful establishment and maintenance of sports pitches is one of the best in the industry. With the completion of BCCI standard cricket ground at in central India; he has successfully executed construction and turf establishment on the cricket ground. This cricket ground has a big pitch square consisting of 7 cricket pitches and is constructed as per BCCI specifications.

Raviraj's experience at GLC in Golf course turf establishment started in 2016 with the construction of 9 Hole Golf Course in Delhi NCR; where his Agronomy skills were tested with the Grassing, Grow-in Maintenance Work which was successfully executed and delivered. Thereon he has successfully executed three golf practice facility projects and currently managing ongoing golf course projects.

Raviraj imparts a holistic all factor-in approach to Turf grass management and offers budgetminded, goal oriented sustainable solutions. He can offer expert advice on Soil investigation for both imported and on-site soils, Sand and Aggregate quality, development of custom growing medium specifications, soil mix quality control throughout the construction of the base, inputs on drainage and irrigation design;Turf Agronomy, Seed & Sod selection; Preplant and Grow-in fertility recommendations;Pest & disease diagnosis and control recommendations; and cultural maintenance practices required after grow-in.
